Endurant Movement: Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 1, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Endurant Movement, a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit (EIN 33-3351006) ("Endurant," "we," "us," or "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information. It applies when you visit endurantmovement.org (the "Site"), donate, register for an event, volunteer, become a member, contact us, or take part in our programs, media, and communications (together, the "Services"). It also explains the privacy rights that may be available to you.

Information You Provide to Us

We collect personal information you choose to share with us, including:

  • Contact and inquiry details: your name, email address, phone number, organization, and the contents of any message you send.

  • Donation information: your name, contact details, gift amount, dedication or tribute details, and whether you want your gift to be anonymous. Donations are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not collect or store full payment-card numbers.

  • Event registration details: the events, screenings, walks, workshops, or watch parties you sign up for, and any details needed to host you, such as accessibility needs.

  • Program, membership, and purchase information: the programs, memberships, courses, or shop items you sign up for or buy, and the information needed to deliver them.

  • Volunteer and partner information: details you share when applying to volunteer, partner, sponsor, or join the team, such as your skills, availability, and experience.

  • Stories and media submissions: stories, videos, photos, or other content you share with us, including for programs like Teen Voices or the Endurant Show.

  • Communications: the emails, texts, form submissions, survey answers, and other messages you exchange with us.

  • Subscription details: the email address and any information you provide to receive our newsletter or updates.

Required fields are identified on each form. Other information is optional unless it is needed to process a donation, registration, purchase, or request.

Information Collected Automatically

When you use the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect:

  • Device and connection data, such as IP address, browser type, operating system, language, and device identifiers.

  • Usage data, such as the pages you view, links you click, the dates and times of your visits, and the site or source you came from.

  • Cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, as described in the Cookies section below.

Information From Third Parties

  • Payment and donation processors, which confirm gifts and transactions.

  • Our website and communications platforms, which help us manage registrations and deliver communications.

  • Analytics and advertising providers, which give us aggregated or device-level insight into how the Site is used.

  • Social and public sources, if you interact with us on third-party platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram.

Sensitive Topics and the Care We Take

Our work addresses mental health, suicide prevention, neurodivergence, grief, and loss. We know these topics are deeply personal. We do not require you to share sensitive details, we ask that you share only what you are comfortable sharing, and we handle the information you do provide with care. Our content and programs are educational and supportive in nature; they are not therapy, counseling, medical care, or crisis care.

Teens and Young People

Some of our programs, such as Teen Voices, include young people under 18. We collect personal information from a minor only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, and we collect only what is needed for the young person to take part. We do not publish a minor's story, image, or voice without written permission from a parent or guardian. Parents and guardians may contact us at any time to review, correct, or delete their child's information.

How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Process donations and send gift receipts and acknowledgments for tax purposes.

  • Register you for events and programs, and send details or changes about them.

  • Respond to your inquiries, including volunteer, partner, and media requests.

  • Provide, operate, and deliver the Services, including memberships, courses, and shop orders.

  • Share stories and media you have given us permission to share.

  • Send administrative messages related to your donation, registration, inquiry, account, or service, and send newsletters, updates, and fundraising appeals only if you separately opt in to email marketing. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time.

  • Personalize, measure, and improve the Site, our programs, and our outreach.

  • Maintain the security and integrity of the Site, and prevent fraud or misuse.

  • Comply with legal obligations, including nonprofit reporting requirements, and enforce our agreements.

How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade donor or participant information, and we do not share it with other organizations for their own fundraising or marketing. We share it only as described here:

  • Service providers and processors that perform services for us, such as website hosting (GoHighLevel), donation and payment processing, email or text platforms, event registration, and analytics. They may use your information only to perform services for us.

  • Program and event partners, such as venues, libraries, schools, or co-hosts, only as needed to run an event or program you signed up for.

  • Public recognition, such as listing donor or sponsor names, only with your permission. You may ask that your gift remain anonymous.

  • Advertising and analytics partners that may receive certain online identifiers through cookies or pixels so we can measure and improve our outreach. Depending on your state, some of this activity may be treated as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information; see Your Privacy Rights to opt out.

  • Legal, safety, and compliance recipients, when we believe disclosure is required by law, by tax or nonprofit regulators, or is reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, or property.

  • Organizational changes, in connection with a merger with or transfer of assets to another charitable organization, subject to this policy.

Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, understand usage, and measure the performance of our content. We may use analytics tools such as Google Analytics and a marketing tracking pixel. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of certain analytics using the providers' own tools. Blocking some technologies may affect how parts of the Site work.

Email and Text (SMS) Communications

If you provide your email address in connection with a donation, registration, inquiry, account, or service, we may send related administrative messages, such as donation receipts and event confirmations. Newsletters, updates, and fundraising appeals require a separate email marketing opt-in. Donating, registering, or providing an email address does not by itself sign you up for marketing. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can opt out at any time.

If you separately opt in to texts, we may send messages related to your registration, a program, or your inquiry. Providing your phone number alone is not consent to receive texts, and SMS opt-in is optional. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out and HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any donation or purchase.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights described below. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

United States

Some state privacy laws apply to nonprofit organizations, and others do not. Whether or not a law applies to us, we will honor reasonable requests to:

  • Know and access the personal information we hold about you.

  • Correct inaccurate personal information.

  • Delete personal information we hold about you, subject to legal and record-keeping requirements, such as donation records we must keep for tax purposes.

  • Opt out of marketing communications and of certain cookie- or pixel-based advertising.

European Economic Area and United Kingdom

If you are in the EEA or the UK, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to our processing of your personal data, and to data portability. Where we rely on your consent, you may withdraw it at any time. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Exercising Your Rights

To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity before we respond, and we will not charge you for a verifiable request.

Data Retention

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, comply with our legal, tax, and reporting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it.

Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

International Users

We are based in the United States and process and store information here. If you access the Services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your country.

Children Under 13

The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information without that consent, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-Party Links and Services

The Site links to third-party pages and platforms, including donation and payment pages, event registration tools, and our channels on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and other social media. Those services have their own privacy practices, and we are not responsible for them. We encourage you to review their policies.

Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a Do Not Track signal. Because there is no common industry standard for responding to these signals, we do not currently respond to them.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top. Material changes may be communicated through the Site or by other means. Your continued use of the Services means you accept the updated policy.
